Frankie
Veterinary Technician
Hi, my name is Frankie, and I am a Veterinary Technician at Sarasota Veterinary Services. I was born in New York and raised in Florida from a young age, and I have been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember — and honestly wouldn't have it any other way.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
When I'm not at the clinic, I'm at home with my girlfriend and our growing furry family of cats and a dog, proving that veterinary life doesn't really end when the workday does.
Why I Chose This Profession
Growing up with pets sparked an early love for animal care that eventually turned into a full-blown veterinary career. Animals have always been part of my story, and they always will be.
Professional Background
With over 10 years in the veterinary field, I started from the ground up as a kennel assistant, caring for boarding cats and dogs and learning the ropes of animal handling and restraint alongside veterinarians. Through dedication, curiosity, and plenty of hands-on experience, I worked my way into becoming a skilled veterinary technician. Over the years I have had the opportunity to work with just about everything — beloved family pets, wildlife, birds, and even some exotic critters — which keeps every day interesting and never boring.
