Thomas
Veterinary Technician
Hi, my name is Thomas, and I am a Veterinary Technician at Sarasota Veterinary Services. I was born and raised on Anna Maria Island, Florida, and I have had a lifelong passion for animals that started in childhood and never faded.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
I bring the laid-back coastal energy of Anna Maria Island wherever I go. Outside the clinic you'll almost always find me on the water fishing, snorkeling, or kayaking — basically anywhere there's sunshine and saltwater. When I'm not chasing fish, I'm fully embracing my inner nerd, spending time playing video games or diving into the worlds of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. And while I won't brag too much, I'll admit I'm also not a bad golfer.
Favorite Part of My Job
I absolutely value the people I work alongside, from my fellow technicians to the doctors I support, and I genuinely couldn't imagine being anywhere else. I take pride in helping pets feel better, supporting their families, and being someone clients can trust during both routine visits and stressful moments.
Why I Chose This Profession
Growing up surrounded by pets helped shape my path early on, and it eventually led me to a career as a veterinary technician — one I consider one of the greatest privileges of my life. For me, veterinary medicine isn't just a job; it's a calling, and I'm grateful every day to be part of a team I truly love.
Education
I am a graduate of Bayshore High School.
